L. Bruce Hensley, D.O.

Dr. Hensley received his Medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine with postgraduate training at Akron General Medical Center and The University of Cincinnati. A certified Medical Review Officer, he has served as the WHSS Medical Director since 1995. He frequently speaks on drug screening and work-related medical issues.

Michael came to WHSS in 1999. He was previously with Mercy Hospital, where he spent 20 years as a Surgeon Assistant. He holds degrees from Akron University (Surgical Assistant and Technical Education), the University of the State of New York (Nursing Degree), Cuyahoga Community College (Physician’s Assistant – Certified) and Duke University (Certificate in Occupational and Environmental Medicine). He currently lives in North Canton with his three daughters.

Nancy Ross

In 1989 Nancy graduated with her LPN from the Canton City Schools Practical Nurses program, and received her Associate of Applied Science in Nursing from Stark State College in 1999. Certified in Occupational Hearing Conservation and as a Breath Alcohol Technician, she has worked at WHSS since 1998. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Nursing.

A 1970 graduate of LPN school, Rose has worked for Mercy Medical Center and WHSS for 33 years. She is certified in PFT, Audiology and BAT, and is a Certified Urine Drug Screen Collector Trainer.
